Before your first panel
How often should I repeat my thyroid panel?
Every 6–8 weeks while your dose is being adjusted, then every 6 months once your levels are stable.
Do I need to fast before a thyroid test?
No — TSH, T3 and T4 don't require fasting. We'll tell you if a combined panel that day needs it.
Is endocrine surgery always needed for thyroid issues?
No — many cases are managed with medication alone. Dr. Muthukumar only recommends surgery when it's genuinely needed.
Do you treat PCOD alongside weight management?
Yes — PCOD and obesity are closely linked, and your plan is built to address both together where relevant.
