Thyroid Treatment

Home / Thyroid Treatment

Why it matters

The gland that quietly runs everything else.

Your thyroid sets the pace for metabolism, energy, mood and body temperature — so when it's even slightly off, it rarely announces itself clearly. Fatigue, weight shifts, hair thinning or a racing heart can all trace back here.

As a trusted thyroid treatment clinic, our endocrinology team reads your full TSH, T3 and T4 hormone panel, not a single number, and builds a personalised hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism treatment plan that's re-checked as your levels move — not on a fixed calendar.

  • Diagnose — complete TSH / T3 / T4 panel with ultrasound if needed.
  • Treat — medication or therapy dosed to your exact levels.
  • Track — scheduled re-tests until your levels hold steady.

Questions

Before your first panel

How often should I repeat my thyroid panel?

Every 6–8 weeks while your dose is being adjusted, then every 6 months once your levels are stable.

Do I need to fast before a thyroid test?

No — TSH, T3 and T4 don't require fasting. We'll tell you if a combined panel that day needs it.

Can thyroid issues affect my skin or weight?

Yes — dry skin, hair thinning and weight shifts are common. We flag these to your dermatology file if it's relevant.

Is thyroid medication a lifelong commitment?

Often, but not always. Some causes resolve; your endocrinologist reviews this at every 6-month check.
